Be the woman you want your daughter to be. Be the woman you want your son to date. Be classy, anything but trashy. (compliments of So Damn True @sayingsforgirls)

Changing A Man: “A moment in the life excerpt.”
“Yes, you may think I’m in the circle of the “Other” guy, the guy you
can’t marry. I completely understand that because I put myself there.
I’m good at it. I’ve been there my whole life. But now, I’m at the
edge of that circle working my out...and that’s because of you. You’re
the first woman that has inspired me to get out of that circle. To face
some fears. To be not the other guy, but rather a better man. Your
man. And I know, through my own doing and other forces of insecurities,
I’ve created that circle, afraid to end the movie and start a life with
the one I love. I know that when I do break out of that circle there’s
a great chance that you would already be married and if so, that’s my
fault. But I’m working hard to break through, for you...”
Love: Resentment or Cheese?
I saw a young couple at Ralphs. It’s freaking hilarious and sad to watch couples shop for groceries. Have you ever? I can tell how long they’ve been together and what’s going on in their relationship just by how they decide which cheese to buy. They are so rude and disrespectful to one another, aren’t they? They bicker and make a federal case out of anything, even something so simple as cheese. It’s just cheese people. The difference between cheddar and jack does not require a hostile exchange of desperate one-upping and sarcastic one-liners, disrespectful criticism that have nothing to do with dairy. But I get it. It’s not about the cheese is it? It’s about what he or she did two months ago that was completely offensive and never resolved. If only they had the skills to communicate and resolve those issues, they would realize that resentment is not cheddar cheese.
